Feng Shui - Bring Health, Wealth and Happiness Into Your Life

Using Bazi Analysis for Life Forecasting

The BaZi or bazi is the Chinese horoscope or astrological system. It is based on a sequence of symbols that represent different years, and a person born in that lunar year is born under the symbol for that year and shares many of its characteristics. There are twelve symbols in all, each representing an animal or mythical creature; they are: Rat, Pig, Ox, Dog, Tiger, Rooster, Rabbit, Monkey, Dragon, Horse, Snake and Goat. They rotate, so that each symbol is expressed every twelve year. Every twelfth year is the Year of the Rat, and so on.

Just knowing your zodiac or BaZi symbol can help you understand aspects of your life, and let you know which other signs you are compatible with for love, work, friendship and other areas. It doesn’t stop there, however; a Chinese astrologer can help you plot a more precise chart for yourself, based numerically on your year of birth. In this way, you can discover which elements, colors, and directions are auspicious or good luck for you.

This is very helpful – indeed, essential – in your practice of feng shui. In feng shui, everything is based on the balance of energies and elements. However, this is not the same for everyone – in fact, though there are some general aspects of ‘good’ and ‘bad’ feng shui, it is also true that the same things are not good for everyone. Therefore, getting a BaZi and astrological reading is an essential part of your feng shui practice. If you don’t want to invest in professional services, though, there are many books written for westerners which can explain a simpler version of the process.  This is an ancient system which is literally for everyone, even if you just use it for fun. You can see how closely your astrological characteristics, and your forecasts for different aspects of life, match what you are actually experiencing.
