Running a Feng Shui Business

Nowadays, the term feng shui business has two possible applications. First, feng shui is good for business – any business. Running your business on the basis of good feng shui – by taking measures such as making sure your office is well laid out according to feng shui theory – will automatically increase the prosperity of your business.

On the other had, feng shui itself has become a business world wide, as feng shui experts offer their services to private or corporate clients. In addition, there are stores, both online and storefront, that sell feng shui products. These are usually elements of decorating that are used specifically for feng shui, such as a bagua mirror or a set of wind chimes. These store are very useful, because some of these items are hard to find outside of China itself. Of course, some businesses also combine the professional services and the providing of products for a feng shui practice, and these may be the most clever of all.

Even if your business is not primarily centered on feng shui, however, feng shui can still help your business. If you work in a store, for example, feng shui can show you how to arrange the working space in order to maximize a beneficial energy flow. Like a living space, a working space also has separate areas or sections that govern particular areas of life. Finding out where these are, and arranging your place of business accordingly, is very beneficial to you on both a personal and a professional level.

The same is true, of course, if you work in an office. Particularly if you conduct meetings and seminars in your office or conference room, the layout is very important and can help determine the success of your meeting. There are ways of arranging your desk, ways of regulating the lighting, and ways of making seating arrangements that will greatly enhance your chances of success in business.
