Feng Shui - Bring Health, Wealth and Happiness Into Your Life |
Easy Feng Shui TipsEven if you don’t have time to study up on all the subtleties of Feng Shui, there are some easy Feng Shui tips you can use to improve the energy flow in your home and, in turn, energize your whole life. Feng Shui is based on an ancient Chinese system of energy management. Literally meaning “the way of wind and water”, it is based on the idea that energy, or ‘chi’, flows through our world and has the power to either help or hinder us in all of our activities, objectives and goals. If your living space has ‘good Feng Shui’, in other words, your life will be affected positively on a variety of levels. As long as your goals are in line with your true life purpose, good Feng Shui will help you achieve them. Feng Shui practitioners devote many years to learning how the subtleties of Feng Shui work. However, there are some easy tips you can put to use right away. The first involves shape: Have you ever noticed that the tables in most Chinese restaurants are round, not square or rectangular? This is because of Feng Shui. Sharp angles cut the energy, but rounded shapes allow it to flow. Try incorporating as many rounded forms as you can in your living space. If you do have a square or rectangular table you don’t want to get rid of, you can minimize the energy-cutting effects by adding a living plant, preferably one with rounded leaves, to attract energy to that part of the room. According to Feng Shui, there are eight sections in every room, and each represents an aspect of your life. If there are issues in your life you want to focus on and improve, find out which part of the room represents that aspect. Make sure that space is clean and uncluttered. Add an object to the space that will help you attract energy – a good example is a collection of gold-colored coins in your ‘prosperity’ corner, or a round-leafed plant in your ‘relationship’ corner. Finally, clearing clutter is always ‘good Feng Shui’. A cluttered living space makes energy stagnate; clearing it away and creating attractive, open spaces can truly give you a new lease on life.
