Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival kicked off Friday with a new plant-based festival market, a new Sip and Savor pass option, and the return of a fan-favorite attraction overlay.

Earth Eats, a new plant-forward festival marketplace, debuted at the fan-favorite event. Items like the IMPOSSIBLE Chicken Parm Bites and IMPOSSIBLE Beef Stroganoff will be served at the marketplace.

Guests can also now purchase a new Sip and Savor pass that comes with four coupons instead of the typical eight.

The eight-coupon Sip and Saver pass will also be available to guests. The coupons can be redeemed for select sample-sized foods and non-alcoholic drinks at participating festival booths and restaurants throughout DCA, a news release said.

Also, for a limited time, guests can enjoy “Soarin Over California,” the original version of the “Soarin’ Around the World” ride at Disney California Adventure during the Food and Wine Festival.

The theme park also debuted a new cupcake decoration activity for kids, between the ages of 3 and 11, attending the event.

The new activity is themed to Disney Junior’s animated series “SuperKittens.”

The 2024 Food and Wine Festival runs until April 22.
