D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, formerly known as the D23 Expo, is coming back to Anaheim this summer. On Tuesday, Disney revealed more details about what fans can expect at the event.

Here’s everything fans need to know about the biannual fan convention for all things Disney.

When is D23?

D23 experiences will take place Aug. 4-11, starting with a special D23 Day at Angel Stadium, leading to the weekend’s official kickoff event at the Disneyland Resort on Aug. 8.

From Aug. 9-11, Disney fans can enjoy shopping, exhibits, panels, presentations and more at the Anaheim Convention Center and then travel to the Honda Center during the evening for larger presentations and panels ranging in topics from Disney theme parks to new movies.

This is the first time the convention is using the Honda Center, an indoor sports and entertainment arena in Anaheim.

Disney announced that the Disney Entertainment Showcase, Disney Experiences and Disney Legends ceremony will be held at the Honda Center.

How much do tickets cost?

Disney will offer various ticket packages for guests attending this year’s event. Here is the breakdown.

D23 Ultimate Fan Pass 3-Day Ticket: This ticket includes a three-day assigned seat for evening shows at the Honda Center and three-day access to all experiences at the Anaheim Convention Center. Prices start at $297 per ticket.

D23 Ultimate Fan Pass 1-Day Ticket: This ticket includes a reserved seat for that date’s evening show at the Honda Center and same-day access to all experiences at the Anaheim Convention Center. Prices start at $99 per ticket.

D23 Preferred Ultimate Fan Pass 3-Day Ticket: This ticket option, exclusive to D23 Gold Members, includes a three-day floor seat for evening shows at the Honda Center (the same seat each night) and three-day access to all experiences at the Anaheim Convention Center. Prices start at $999 per ticket.

Disney will also offer fan passes that give guests access to the Anaheim Convention Center only. Here is the ticket price breakdown.

One-day passes cost $79 per ticket for Gold members and $89 per ticket for General members.

Three-day passes cost $209 per ticket for Gold Members and $259 per ticket for General members.

When do tickets go on sale?

Fans will be able to purchase tickets beginning on March 26.

D23 Gold members will have access to a pre-sale on March 26, Visa cardholders will have access to a pre-sale on March 27 and the general public will be able to purchase tickets on March 28.

All tickets will be available beginning at noon each day.

D23 Day at Disneyland

Fans can also celebrate all things Disney at the “Happiest Place on Earth” as the resort hosts the first-ever D23 Day on Aug. 8.

“Disneyland Resort will welcome D23 fans from rope drop to late night featuring unique offerings for fans, including a custom cavalcade and an energetic dance party at Disneyland Park, special photo opportunities, specialty foods, themed merchandise, and more at both parks. Disney Junior will also join the festivities and host a music-filled celebration at Disney California Adventure,” a news release said.

D23 Day at Angel Stadium

The first-ever D23 Day at Angel Stadium will occur on Aug. 4 as the Angels take on the New York Mets. The first 23,000 fans who enter the gate will receive a complimentary one-of-a-kind D23 Mickey Mouse bobblehead.
